Monday April 7th 2008 – 8:50pm Dave Miles, who couldn't make it to Saturday's gathering, sent an email writing, “It sounds like you had a lovely celebration yesterday---a good time for All. Your Blog today was truly the most entertaining it has ever been! I wish I had been apart of the celebration and had a piece of Alien Meatloaf (the knife was a great touch). You look great in ALL the pictures--and especially the picture of You with "Hovering" Luis --It looks like his face was just dipped in milk :) Toooo funny! I laughed and laughed. *** Oh, by the way, I am really sorry I did not get a chance to pet your Priapus. Glad you had a good time!” ..... Reply: I'll make it a point the next time you're over to point out my Priapus. :)

11:45am Robert from Sacramento sent an email. He writes, “93 Jerry! Yes it was a good time for all... I wish we met like that more than once a year but I have always been social like that. The pictures were good much more than usual and they really captured the spirit of the day.”11:25am Jerri writes, “I had a great time on Saturday. Thank you. It was wonderful to see you. I really enjoy your sick sense of humor. I feel right at home! So many great people that are real and genuine. I appreciated talking to all of them. Usually at parties there's that inevitable person or people that grate on you in one way or another...there wasn't even 1 of them!! I was clearly in the right place.” … and regarding yesterday’s 1:35pm posting, Jeri writes, “Tell Carol sorry---that we are engaged!!! Actually, I do remember a proposal...and I remember a break up too...hmm...already interesting and exciting!!! Again, sorry Carol...well...um...is she hot or brilliant...or both? I could be convinced to share. :-) ……. Reply: It was great to see you too. So we’re engaged? OK, I could see that. But we broke up? Now I’m confused; I started to picture you smiling, naked with long beautiful flowing hair slowing walking toward me but then I watched you walk out the door fully dressed all in the same dream. ??? As for Carol, yes, she is both but we’re just friends and she’s just breaking my you know whats. Love, Marie” … Reply: Yes, I can see it on the same photo that I posted on the first page of photos. The orb is smaller than the bigger one, which I might suspect to be the daimon of my mentor; Grady McMurtry. This means, the smaller orb could be his ex-wife Phyllis keeping tabs on him! Ya got to love Geminis! They are worse than Cancers for never letting go!8:00am Ricardo who came up from southern California writes, "I just got back home. Thank you for the photos, for your impeccable hospitality, and the chance to meet so many wonderful hearts. Living so far from all other clerk houses it was a real treat to share a few moments with so many brothers and sisters. You have no idea what a delight it was to meet other members of the lineage, the teachers of the clerk houses (every one of them made a genuine impression on me). Meeting Luis was a moment to remember. Carlos and Kristin kept saying they felt sure they have seen both you and him sometime past. All I can say is: the space changed and the attention heightened when you and him walked in. I enjoyed that meeting very much. ... As for you, dear Jerry, I was thrilled to see you once again. I will treasure dinner with you, Mari, Ben and Kristin. I will be following up on all the wonderful gems of wisdom and information you generously casted our way in that meeting before the party. ... Reply: It was a great treat to see you again. You are truly one of those rare gems who have graced my life. Of interest; as soon as I saw your brother Carlos and Kristin I too had a strange feeling that we all had meet, but where? Even as I look at pictures of them I get the same feeling that we meet. Odd. They are both such wonderful people. I wish I had more time to chat with them but in gatherings it is difficult. ... and finally, as you mention "petting" my "priapus" had me in stitches! Of course my reader’s minds will probably be in the gutter chuckling and wondering, "She petted Jerry's Priapus?" [hee hee hee] So let me remind everyone that my Priapus is a real two thousand year old statue from ancient Rome. His erect penis should be 'petted' according to mythology or impetus could befall you for a full month. 7:45am I woke and found an email from Ben Hance who just checked out my blog & the photos that I posted of the gathering held at his house on Saturday. He writes, "93 The pictures and comments are nice. I'm happy for the positive response from all involved. Luna's pictures are great! I enjoyed myself immensely and am already looking forward to next year (like I "...don't have a choice" AO). Anyway let people know this is an annual event. I'll call you tomorrow regarding my pictures. 93 93/93 Ben." ...... Reply: Ben, I must sternly remind you that we are Thelemites, of course you have a choice ... it's your apartment that doesn't. ... like the last few years, party at Ben's place next year!7:30am For the history buffs: Pierre Michel Eugene Vintras, the foreman of a cardboard box factory who founded The Church of Carmel, was born in Baxeux, France on this date in 1807. Vintras’ religious practices which received him condemnation was with conducting ‘Black Masses’ in the nude, masturbating while praying at the altar and advocating homosexuality. He also knew the notorious Satanist Abbé Boullan. ……. Max Schneider, who joined the Agape Lodge O.T.O. in southern California in 1935, who was also known as Frater VIATOR, died on this date in 1948. ……. And I should mention that Humphrey Osmond coined the term ‘Psychedelic’ on this date in 1956. Along with his colleague, John Smythies, Osmond shocked the medical community in 1952 by drawing attention to the structural similarity between the mescaline and adrenaline molecules. He theorized that schizophrenia might be the result of the brain releasing an endogamous hallucinogen, possibly derived from adrenaline. 6:30pm Luna sent another email. She writes, "J 93! I tweaked some more photos, but they are of the same people. I am also including photos of Allyson Erick, and Michelle (taken at other times). Allyson is a musician, visual artist, film/documentary artist and more. She has an amazing studio filled with wonderful equipment three blocks from Ben. Allyson was in the band E.L.F...and her son, Sean Erick, is a studio musician who is currently on the road, and he plays with "Beyonce". Allyson presents an annual May Day festival...this year it will be held on April 26th. (I believe that she announced the Berkeley park where it will be held this year.) She has been holding May Day -May Pole gatherings for over twenty years. She may have given you the specs on this years April 26th event....but when I speak with her this week, I will get the specs again and email them to you...all are welcome. She says that there will be two maypoles...and that each maypole needs 24 people to round the poles with ribbon. This event is attended by all the old timers (artists, poets, wiccans, feris, etc) and all the children. anyway...here are some more pics. ...and, we are all well here, fully recovered and the glitter and wonder of yesterday has not faded...but is continuing to inspire our art and magick. and Leigh....while looking at the photos of your blog commented: "Jerry looks great, nice to see him looking so strong!" xoxoxox 93 93/93 )O(." ..... As far as the Maypole event goes, Allyson told us about it yesterday and I'll be there as well as Ben, he's rather excited about going. Anyone else out there who'd like to attend, send me an email.6:00pm Mari saw the orb in the picture too. She writes, "See ! Other person noticed that you had an orb!, too (^-^) When my friends showed me some pics from India, I just got a terrible headache immidiately. I saw millions of orbs there. According to them, even they could see it with naked eyes but they didn't know orbs, so they only wondered what they were. Hmmmmm, India.....I was impressed. When my friend visited me, I always felt her father with her. Then I took pic of her and her family, I found the orb exactly on her Mom's heart! Do you think it's amazing???? So, I wondered who it was above your head but I don't know, Jerry.....maybe your master.....or Crowley....because you, guys were talking about them very often and the entity came with it. When I felt the other people's energies and the existance of the entity, I felt exhausted. But when I returned home last night , I felt OK, so I could go to the cafe to study, Jerry (^.-) In Ben's apartment, I felt just tired, though. Please take care of yourself, Jerry. a 'manifestation' a 'light flash' or both?
1:35pm In regards to yesterday with celebrating The Feast for the Three Days of the Writing of The Book of the Law. [Liber AL vel Legis II:38] Carol writes, "Damn, it seems like I missed a good one yesterday. I'll make it a point to be at the next no matter what. Hey, and whose the girl giving you all those hugs? Cheating on me?" ....... Reply: The girl is Jerri, she posts alot on this blog. I know I drank alot yesterday but I have vague memories of proposing to her ??? So I guess I'm getting married.1:30pm Jay writes, "I can definitely second Luna's sentiment about yesterday's gathering. I was glad to meet people I had heard about as well as other unexpected folks (Steven was rather charming). I was fraternally hugging people I had just met with open arms and open heart. Good energy, and a great sense of comradery. Thelemites are my peeps for life! I look forward to similar gatherings. Love, Jay ... PS Great pics too!" .... Reply: I'm glad you enjoyed yourself and got to meet others in Grady's AA lineage. It was a really good gathering; plenty of food [I especially enjoyed the roasted Goat! I don't get out that often, so I thought it was only me....but Steven could not stop commenting on how wonderful the gathering was....when we dropped pulled over to the curb to drop him at BART he had a brief moment where he thought that he would never see or meet with like-minded people again, but Michelle and I reassured him that it was not a dream...and that we will be agressively following up on all the links, threads and inspiration. It has been literally ages since Steven, Michelle and I have been in a crowded room of people who were all the genuine articles (individual freethinking Thelemites). Thank you for making this happen. ...it exceeded my wildest expectations...and I am more than certain that my artwork will flourish from this experience....my art will be able to "hang" on a more tangible understanding of The Dreamcatcher....and now, when I meet with Steven to work on the "Dancing Queen" project, we will not have to waste time talking about whether or not people will understand what we are doing, and whether or not we are wasting our time by even imagining that we can manifest the "Dancing Queen" project because everyone that Steven threw his random ideas out to responded to him with understanding and creative insight. .. I don't remember who Michelle told me she talked in depth to about her dream to begin writing....but when we got home, Michelle told me that she was ready to begin writing asap! … Your son is delightful...a beautiful gentle, but hiddenly alert soul! … I don't like to compare...but over the last two years, when I have been in social settings I have gone away feeling that I was around jaded people....but not yesterday. wow, 93s )O( and the country bumpkins” ....... and I quickly replied, “Luna 93! You are too kind. Long ago, when I dreamed of you after our first meeting, I remember hearing the phrase ‘bringer of smiles’ and wrote it in my diary. You’ve lived up to that! Very fitting. He and Oswald Wirth deliberately infiltrated Abbe Boullan’s Satanic group and wrote a scathing exposé of it titled The Temple of Satan. Boullan was so outraged that he, and his friend, the novelist J.K. Huysmans, engaged in magical warfare with de Guaita which resulted, tragically, in Boullan’s death of a heart attack on January 3, 1893. De Guaita, in utter anger, challenged Huysmans to a duel, but he wisely declined and apologized. ……. And, depending upon whom you believe, it was on this date in 1928, 31 or 33, Richard Alpert, the son of the President of the New Haven Railroad, was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He also worked with Leary and Ralph Metzner to rewrite the Tibetan Book of the Dead as The Psychedelic Experience.
