1947 DIARIES
INTRODUCTION
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
The following is taken from an original typed diary which was found in a metal box which some believe once belonged to The Great Beast himself, Aleister Crowley. It is unfortunate that the first five months were removed and torn out of the note book but at least the remainder survived. This appears to be Crowley's real 1947 Diaries and handwriting analysis has proved such to be the case. It is important to note that the typed diaries at the Warburg Institute dated 1947 are obviously 'excerpts' from this original diary.
The great value to historians, regarding these diaries, is the implication that Aleister Crowley did not die on December 1st 1947 but may actually have faked his own death.

the whole truth, told him everything, although I told him not to take everything so seriously. 5.30 I question now. When talking to Grant earlier about not taking me seriously, his reply, "The Dog Star?" I didn't feel like pursuing what he meant. Now I wonder - does the kid think I'm going to Sirius! What a Fool! 'Is a god to live in the dog?' No! It's an awful place, the party animal Uranians don't even go there! The Sirians are such a bore.

Tues.24 Khien.1. Lam-basting over American west coast, Mt.Rainer. Was spotted by small plane, listened to its radio messages. The guy was really scared, tried to describe us but couldn't when tower requested further info. He called us a flying bedpan!!! He said, 'looks like bedpans skipping over the surface of water, flying bedpans!' (1) Lam & I had a good laugh.
Wed.25 Lam nearly collides our ship with another. Fell asleep at wheel. I hate those Nazis! Don't they know the war is over? It's dangerous flying over the North Pole! 4.00 Chess. 6.30 dinner in Paris, Lam disguised as a lady of the evening. Looks cute. Bright red is his color, blond wig. Richard David Ellman here. Thur.26 5.00 Ellman left. Back to Netherwood. I think the landlady saw us land, otherwise she screams for nothing. Chit from Lamar Jimmerson, a fellow Gnomon from Gary, Indiana re: Codex Pappus & spiral. I will send him my treatise on the Masters of Atlantis, Liber LI, The Lost Continent.

Mon.28 Kieh-40. Told landlady not to disturb me all day. 7.45 Lam & I off to Montauk. He wants to show me the 'special' time door ... we'll be using later. 4.00 chess, later talk on banishing. We passed over the USS Charger, I pointed out to Lam that it's the same ship Parsons and VK did the time portal experiments on. (2) 7.50 more chess, slept, later chess again. Lam cheats, reads my mind and always knows my next move!
Tue.29 Ki zi-63. 7.30 Montauk is a real bummer, rain, rain, rain. Very cold. I got to see the mounds or radiation neutralizers, so Lam says. 12.00 P.Town for swimming, nice lunch. 4.00 Back to London. Lam & I hit the town. He picked up this old, toothless, bald headed prostitute. I guess it was love at first sight.
Wed.30 Sick, hung over. Lam is no fun with a hang over. Moody.

Sat.3 .30 Home, dog tired. 7.50 Brian over for lunch. Chess. 8.50 old friend Louis stopped by. We talked about faking ones own death. Is it possible? Sun.4 Yu-16. Chit from Grant about Sirius! Oh no! ... Had a nice lunch, afterwards a chit from Gerald. Offers large sum of money if I write some witchcraft rituals for him! Then he's going to claim witchcraft is really, really old and that it goes back in English history for centuries and that his rites are authentic! How stupid. Doesn't he know that I have my morals - I won't stoop that low! 1.00 Chess & lunch. Chit from John. 4.30 wrote G.letter, saying ok, I'll do it.

Fri.9 Heard from Lam, drunk again; he collided with another ship over Roswell, New Mexico a few days ago. It crashed, all presumed dead. Lam thought it was really funny, no remorse. Made jokes because he thought they were Nazis but it turned out they're from Regulus, who are obvious egotist because they have greater swollen heads than his! I'm told it's a racial thing. 8.35 Dinner & late night Chess with Michael.
Sat.10 Li-30. Saw Louis, dined at his favorite restaurant for lunch. Frieda also there. Chess. 12.00 Lam back, everything is 'arranged' for my future. 2.30 Lam & I discussed going to Paris. He's still got this bug up his ass about the limerick. Yes! I'll write another one. 4.00 Chit from Gardner. Asked me to keep quiet about rituals.
Sun.11 Spicy Curry with hot applesauce, raisins and pecans. Topped with tiny 6" strips of beef lightly salted. Add three teaspoons of black pepper, a little pinch of oregano & yellow mustard ... Lam's favorite dish. 7.50 Lam sick.
Wed.14 Wei Zi-64. Paris. Twins, Mabel and Carol, hot blondes, both with broken noses. All night at their place, Lam & I. Sex very good ... Mabel likes to smear whipped cream on Lam's head and then she sits on it. Quite a sight. It drives him wild.
Thur.15 Lam brings Boug, another bubble headed Martian through time warp door, really cute, female. 4.00 Chess. Lam cheats.
Fri.16 7.45 Dinner at Cafe Royal. Saw Wilkinson, later Grant who wanted to talk 'serious' which turned out to be 'Sirius'! Tried to straighten him out but I believe he'll always take magic for 'granted', no pun intended. 8.00pm Chess. Grant over again, met Lam. Told Lam he looks 'Scottish', Lam without moving his lips, telepathically told him, "No, Northern France." I think Grant believed him.

Fri.23 1.45 Chess, Stella; to lunch. Saw Gardner, gave him the 'ancient' newly written rituals for the gullible. We both had a good laugh. 5.00 Chit from Stella. Thung Za.13.
Tues.26 Saw Stella, she's visiting London from Brussels. Clamado with her. He's now 17, naturally bald, bushy eyebrows. He still thinks I'm his father ... damn Stella, hasn't she told him about the milkman Michael Phillip Rae yet?
Fri.29 Ura wang 65. Clamado, gave him a fake book, drawn with crayons & made up the name of 'Book of Desolation' to sound spooky. Told him it's the real thing. He's so stupid. 4.10 Stella drunk in corner. Lam stopped by, dressed in drag; Clamado & he went out on the town for drinks.

Sun.18 10.45pm really strange dream, woke up in cold sweat: I'm at Montauk with Lam in some underground building, there are dozens of bald-headed naked woman in rocking chairs each holding a radiation neutralizer, opening a time portal for me to walk through so I can fish for great white sharks just off the coast. Everyone is laughing including Clamado, who was there (?) So was Mickey Mouse. What does it mean? khewi-38. of course, makes perfect sense. I had fish for supper.

Are our phallic shaped red hats the mountains whereby the Atlanteans mined their ZRO? & is a Popper something you take to get high? All good questions. Khewi-38 (?) Wed.21. sick all day. Dr.Thomson the pill-peddling charlatan stopped by. I wonder what Taphthartharath is doing right now? HSU-5 Lingam of course, makes perfect sense.
Fri.23 Shih Ho Ho Ho-21. Lunch at Morton's. 2.00 Chess. Louis over for a visit. 1 1/2 hours. More Chess.

Sun.25 Li-30. Thought up a new curry dish for Lam when he gets better. Spicy hot curry, lots of sardines (Lam's favorite), peanut butter sauce topped with oregano, sage & a pinch of salt. Yum yum.
Tues.27 Kathleen for lunch, was lunch. IXth Degree, Elixir was good but salty. 12.00 Chess. Louis & John S stopped by. 2 1/2 hours. John wanted 'Man has the right to refuse to do the dishes!' added to Liber OZ. I told him I'd think on it.

OCTOBER
Sat.Oct.1 Lunch at Cafe Royal with David S. from southern California. Also Chit from John & Michael Taylor. Talked about OTO history, Ruess, Kelner etc, David couldn't believe the OTO was founded by Charter from Gnomons in late 1890s, in Malta, not Germany (which I informed him was a blind). The truth behind the mysteries of Pletho Pappus discussed. David is a true Gnome! 4.30 Chess. Louis stopped by 2 1/2 hours drinking & talking.
Mon.Oct.3. Chit from America from Mrs.King 'Our' (?) son was born on Sept.21st, she named him Stephen. Her husband believes it's his. Thanks me for wonderful european vacation last year. Who is this woman?

Sat.Oct.8 Lam discussed further regarding trip & expectations. His name (Lam) adds to 71 (L30/A1/M40), same as 'vagina'. (?) We discussed magick & Lam decided that he wants to join the 'AA' - I agree, sobriety will do him good.
Sun.Oct.9 Asthma bad all day. Had a bad night but a shade better. Dr.Thomson stopped by ... & letter from Saturnus. Drinks with John S. 2 1/2 hours. A little chess but I'm not into it today, still not feeling well.

Tues.Oct.11 Kwang-34. Began writing Liber 273 entitled Montauk Doors and The Sacred Fishing Trips of The Unified Field Theory.
Wed.Oct.12 Birthday, turned 72. Lam brought lots of friends, partied till wee hours. Landlady complained, said over twenty people in my small room is too many. I laughed when the Uranian named Igwig danced naked down the hall with lampshade on his head, shaking his butt left to right, to 'Viva La France'. Somebody screamed, don't know who ... room trashed. So much for Lam's sobriety!

Sat.Oct.15 59-Huan 'Dissipation; in the world of fools ...' Had a visit by someone claiming to be another alien, a Spicaian no less. He wants recognition for his magical genius and so he wants to be tested. "Success is thy proof" I say! But his answers were a joke, he didn't even know the name of one Tarot card, missed all 22 - a Spicaian sinus problem no doubt!

Although he'd prefer to be simply called 'AA' - which of course is a total joke! To impress me further, he claims to know Babalon 'personally' and says he spends time with her in the 7th Aethyr, chatting!!! In fact, he's been instructed by Babalon to tell me that I should contact her and she'll verify that he's "Another Alien" ... no need, I thought, I'm already convinced you're a space cadet!!! ENDNOTES
1. The man whom AC & Lam spot flying the small plane over Mt.Rainer is Kenneth Arnold who obviously years later 'changed' the story. He now claims he said "looks like saucers skipping over the surface of water, flying saucers" and not 'bedpans' ... this is how the term UFO was created, although it should correctly be termed UFB as Crowley's diaries show. Luckily these diaries survive to correct this error.
2. Crowley is referring to Theodore Von Karman who also worked with Parsons at JPL. According to Karman's own biography 'The Wing and Beyond' he & Jack Parsons were both on the USS Charger in 1943 during the original Philadelphia Project.
